Job Purpose The Sales Merchandiser plays a critical role in helping our retail business customers best market and manage their products and retail space. The Merchandiser will visit a variety of store locations and ensure that our products and displays are both fresh and attractive to customers. This person will maintain relationships with in-store management and be responsible for identifying and internally communicating individual store opportunities to the management. The qualified individual can exercise sound judgment in decision-making during the course of business. Key Responsibilities The Sales Merchandiser will be assigned duties, based on organizational needs and priorities. Implement an efficient and accurate merchandising service schedule by driving to multiple customer stores and effectively marketing and expanding existing lines Assist in merchandising new items and marketing programs to assigned customer group. This includes assisting in counter resets and merchandising programs as directed Compile fact-based research and/or statistical compilations involving an understanding of sales operating programs, policies, and programs Arrange, participate in, and present in meetings to customers and management Qualifications and Experience To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function assigned satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 2 years merchandising experience, preferably in a retail environment Demonstrated initiative, urgency, commitment, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously Superior communication and presentation skills Effective administrative skills to keep themselves organized and provide detailed, timely and accurate information to the Company and customer Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, build consensus and facilitate problem-solving and collaboration in a matrix environment Ability to use Microsoft Office This role is a field-based role with limited office time. The incumbent must be able to travel throughout territory 75% of time as needed
