Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Solar Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy systems to residential and commercial customers. This role involves educating customers on the benefits of solar energy and guiding them through the sales process.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct consultations with potential customers to assess their energy needs
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and the cost savings associated with solar installations
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads through various sales strategies including door-to-door sales, networking, and referrals
- Create customized solar proposals for customers based on their energy consumption and financial goals
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet monthly targets
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and post-installation
Requirements:
- Proven experience in energy sales, outside sales, or related field
- Knowledge of solar industry practices and trends
- Strong sales skills with the ability to effectively communicate the value of solar energy solutions
- Proficiency in sales software for tracking leads and managing customer relationships
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus for engaging bilingual customers
