General Summary:
The Data/API Analyst (SQL & .NET) will be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance. This position also works with other developers optimizing in-application SQL statements as necessary and establishing best practices. The Data API Analyst (SQL & .NET) will work closely and learn from senior developers for .NET API development, therefore good communication and collaboration skills are required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining databases and API’s
  • Ability to create interconnected tools, applications, and micro-servers across multiple platforms
  • Writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation
  • Ability to create views, stored procedures, SQL table types and functions
  • Strong knowledge of ETL processes and working experience on SSIS
  • Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues
  • Creating and maintaining database documentation
  • Implementing and maintaining database security measures
  • Working with your senior colleagues to learn from how they go about their job.
  • Work with dynamic T-SQL queries, DDL, DML statements for creating objects, making updates and managing user permissions.
  • Help with Data Purges, and Data refreshes, and maintain the data quality dashboard
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and some capacity on using Azure DevOps
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge in any Data extraction tools
  • 1-3 years' experience in developing in the MS .NET C# environments.
  • 1-3 years' experience in SQL Familiarity with cross-platform development
  • Knowledge of languages in SQL, Java, Python, JavaScript, Node.js, REST, Tomcat 7, TortoiseSVN, J2EE, JUnit, MakeFile, Apache JMeter, MySQL, JSON, XML, PHP Syfony2, Yii.
  • Good understanding in Integration or Service-oriented architecture, data and schema standards and concepts, db design and implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
  • Strong understanding in how to design API Connections between multiple devices
  • 1-3 years hands on expertise as a SQL developer.
  • Critical thinker, monitoring, and problem-solving skills
  • Required Business Processes Knowledge in Food Distribution, Supply chain, Inventory management, ERP processes (sales order, purchase order, AP, AR, GL, Inventory, Warehouse Management, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project administration, computer science or related field
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (PPT, Excel, Word, Smartsheet’s, Visio, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work in Eastern Standard Time zone.
  • Flexibility to work varied shift, including variable hours on occasion (evenings and weekends)
