Harvest Church - Dothan is Hiring an Assistant Production Manager Near Dothan, AL
Harvest Church is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Assistant Production Manager. This position plays a vital role in overseeing the production aspects of our weekly worship services, youth group activities, special events, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience with audio, lighting, presentation software, and live streaming, with a passion for creating exceptional worship experiences.
Schedule:
Sunday Morning, Wednesday Evenings, Thursday Evenings, and as needed for special events. Maximum of 15 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Weekly Worship Services:
- Working with the Production Manager and Worship Pastor for weekly production needs.
- Oversee and manage the production of weekly worship services on Sundays.
- Attend and contribute to rehearsals for weekend services on Thursday nights.
- Ensure smooth operation of audio, lighting, ProPresenter, and livestream systems.
Youth Group Services:
- Coordinate and supervise the production for youth group services and practices on Wednesdays.
Special Events:
- Oversee and manage the production of special events, including conferences, Nights of Worship,
- Operate any media needs for funerals, graduations, weddings, and more.
- Collaborate with event coordinators and teams to meet production needs.
Technical Proficiency:
- Operate church equipment, including Midas and Behringer digital sound systems, Blackmagic Design ATEM Video switchers, and Onyx Lighting Software.
- Troubleshoot technical issues efficiently before and during services.
Team Leadership
- Lead a team of volunteers to assist in various production roles.
- Occasional training of volunteers.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Provide guidance and support to volunteers, encouraging skill development and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in live production, particularly in a church or similar setting.
- Familiarity with audio, lighting, presentation software, and livestream technologies.
- Working knowledge in of digital sound systems, Blackmagic Design ATEM Video switchers, ProPresenter, and Lighting Software
- Willingness to learn the productions systems and strive for excellence.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursday nights, and as needed for special events.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
