Position Title: Youth Care Specialist

Job Duties:

¨ Supervision of and interaction with children and teens; implementation of daily living schedule

¨ Teach and model daily life and social skills through chores, recreation, , etc.

-Provide daily care and nurturing

-Administer prescribed medications to children

-Perform behavior management and complete daily behavior logs

¨ Responsible to clean residential unit and do resident’s laundry

¨ Conduct nightly devotions with children

-Conduct 15 minute bed checks during sleeping hours

Requirements:

¨ Be at least 21 years old

¨ Pass an FBI and CPS background check

¨ Clean driving record

¨ Have earned a Bachelor’s degree in education, human services, or ministry; or have at least six months experience working with youth (paid or volunteer).

¨ Adhere to and be willing to teach and model a conservative lifestyle.

-Be actively involved in a local church / have a Pastor's reference.

-Be able to pass a drug screen.

¨ Physically able to stand for long periods and participate in recreational activities.

¨ MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 12 HOUR NIGHT SHIFTS (7pm-7am and rotating weekends).

Salary & Benefits:

¨ $16.00 - $18.00 / hour depending on education and experience
