Harvard Integrations is Hiring a Facility Manager Near Tea, SD

Description

Responsible for the smooth and safe operation of multiple buildings and production equipment. You will be directing a dedicated maintenance staff by assigning and managing work orders, requests, and preventative maintenance activities. This position will be responsible for managing preventative and predictive maintenance strategies across the site. 

  • Supervise facility maintenance, including routine inspections and repairs.
  • Manage the maintenance of production equipment, such as paint booths, welders, laser cutting machines, press brakes, saws, HVAC, etc.\
  • Coordinate and oversee snow removal activities during inclement weather.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment and facilities.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for facility-related services and contracts.
  • Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenditures.
  • Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and issues.
  • Continuously assess and improve facility efficiency and sustainability.
  • Implement effective rodent control measures.
  • Delegating cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members.
  • Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace.
  • Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders.
  • Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
  • Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions.
  • Collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facility’s needs.
  • Manage workload to align tasks with maintenance tech skillsets. 

Requirements

  1. Proven experience as a Facility or Maintenance Manager in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  4. Experience working in a manufacturing environment producing custom products would be a plus.
  5. Experience working with Excel, Word and other Microsoft products.
  6. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Manager Systems.
