Hartig Drug is seeking a motivated, team oriented, full time Pharmacy Clerk to join their winning team in Dubuque, IA. Hours will be Monday through Friday day shift.
This position works under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and performs many of the clerical pharmacy-related functions. No experience necessary to be a pharmacy technician!
Essential Job Functions
- Assist patients when picking up prescriptions
- Package prescriptions after final check by pharmacist
- Organize Will-Call bin
- Assist patients in the drive-thru window if applicable
- Responsible for answering the telephone and direct inquiry as appropriate
- Stock medication shelves
- Works well in a team environment
- Portrays the company in a positive image
Required to abide by all rules, regulations and policies of the
Non–essential Job Functions
- Assist patients and customers in retail store
Requirements
- Must be detail orientated in retail store
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills
Other Skills/Abilities
- Ability to work cooperatively with pharmacy and store staff
Required licenses or certifications
- Must be registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy upon hire as a pharmacy clerk
