THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Lead Editor to manage and execute high quality edits across trailers, promos, social content and both short and longer form content. You will partner with our Executive Creative Director to create nationally distributed creative campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful creative campaigns, with a passion for inspiring others to push the boundaries of creativity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Apply creative storytelling techniques to enhance the narrative flow and visual impact of videos.

  • Collaborate closely with producers, directors, and other cross-functional team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results while meeting tight deadlines.

  • Manage video files, assets, and project timelines efficiently to meet deadlines.

  • Generate original and innovative edits that align with brand objectives

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring creative concepts to life

  • Develop and maintain the visual brand identity of the company; ensure consistency and cohesion in all visual elements across different channels

  • Review and review post-production work and advise on color grading as needed.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field

  • Proven experience in TV/Film executing trailer edits.

  • Experience developing quick turn assets for social media.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and styles.

  • Deep understanding of a creative and social agency with experience meeting fast deadlines

  • Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Exemplary verbal and written communication

  • A creative problem solver who is a collaborative team player

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects; ability to travel and work beyond traditional hours as needed.

  • Passion for and internet in comedy, TV, film and podcasts

  • Finds the laughter in everyday life and wants to keep the world laughing together.

COMPENSATION

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and work location. In addition to the base salary, the compensation package for this role also includes a discretionary bonus, based on individual and company performance.
