Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineering Technician to support an engineering services contract in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, development, building and qualifying of mission essential equipment.
• Execute tests using test equipment such as Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Signal Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Function Generators and Power Supplies
• Collect and analyze test data/results, document results, outcomes and write reports. Provide analysis of results to Engineering and R&D team members.
• Support the design packaging line layouts, Equipment P&ID's, and packaging Component Data.
• Analyze equipment failures and provide solutions and recommendations on areas of improvement.
• Execute technical judgement and decision making.
• Aid in procurement of equipment and supplies for labs and engineering hardware.
• Maintain detailed and up to date test data in laboratory note book and active test logs.
• Coordinate Test with outside laboratories.
• Assist with design and documentation in support of test events.

Required

• Associates degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline. Equivalent experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Experience must include developing and testing solutions to solve technical problems in research and development, inspection, maintenance, and assisting engineers in inspecting products, conducting tests, and collecting data.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Desired

• Five plus (5 ) years of professional experience, including specialized in DOD or related programs.
• Demonstrated proficiency in test and evaluation of DoD equipment.
