And we were recently named as one of America's Most Loved Workplaces 2022 by Newsweek! Job DescriptionAs Operations Supervisor, you will oversee a department, ensuring that customer orders are safely and accurately processed on time, according to all internal procedures and in compliance with all applicable regulations. You will ensure effective communications with internal and external teams, departments, customers and vendors to achieve Operations’ goals. Hire, train, develop, and manage performance of departmental staff to attain a cohesive, motivated team.Primary Responsibilities:Maintain operational documentation to include reports, licenses, procedures, order requirements, etc.Manage and communicate with other sites and corporate teams to coordinate work.Administer scheduled pickups and deliveries, including communications with customer to resolve issues or clarify requirements.Responsible for purchasing for the facilities including review of invoicing for services provided.Support compliance with all federal, state and local permit requirements.Communicate to management facility needs, difficulties and changes in operations.Supervise segregation and packaging material for transport along with the completion of required paperwork in a legible, accurate, and timely manner in accordance with appropriate regulations and Customer/Clean Earth policies, practices, and proceduresOversee large projects/jobs including managing a team of technicians. Schedule and distribute work to team. Instruct, provide feedback, direct and assist team in performance of job duties to complete work in accordance with requirements and Clean Earth policies, practices and procedures.Train technicians and operators on-the-job in equipment operation, service line processes and necessary paperwork.
