Position Title: Service Insight Coordinator
FLSA Status: Full-time, Regular non-exempt
Immediate Supervisor: This position will report directly to Community Engagement Manger.
Employees Supervised: Volunteers and/or interns occasionally.
Position Summary: The Service Insights Coordinator will play a key role in leading, expanding, and strengthening the on-the-ground efforts for neighbor data collection of services provided by Harry Chapin Food Bank (HCFB) and our agency partner network. This position is responsible for neighbor data collection across HCFB’s distribution network, providing training and ongoing technical support to volunteers and staff engaged in on-site collection, and entering neighbor data into database as needed. This position assists the Programs Department with expanding the HCFB data pool by onboarding, training, and offering support to Agency Partners in neighbor data collection. This role helps ensure maximum impact for the people who access services and the organizations who work in partnership with HCFB. This role helps ensure data integrity for HCFB’s evidence-based programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Oversee Agency Partner onboarding. Assist in onboarding additional HCFB Food Distribution sites as requested.
· Develop and adhere to a data collection (Service Insights) onboarding plan for agency partners and mobile distribution sites.
· Conducts training, onboarding, monitoring, and provides ongoing support to all Oasis and Service Insights on MealConnect users, including volunteers, staff, interns, and agency partners.
· Completes data entry related to neighbor registration (Service Insights) and enters manual registration forms/applications.
· Maintain inventory needed to ensure data collection sites have all necessary equipment needed to collect, input, and track data for direct service Outreach programs
· Oversees the ordering and tracking of hardware (computers, routers, barcode scanners, etc.) for agency partners.
· Oversee volunteer, staff, and intern training on data collection and Service Insights on MealConnect (SIMC) and Oasis Insight use as needed.
· Consistently maintain data integrity with neighbor registration platforms; troubleshoot data inconsistencies including duplicates, typos, and/or undisclosed data points. Troubleshoots and tracks technology issues to create and improve training materials
· Creates and maintains SOPs and guidelines related to implementation of service insights for all users.
· Provide support for data-related projects as needed.
· Provide Support for Agency Partner transitions from Oasis Insight to Service Insights on MealConnect (SIMC) as needed.
· Develop and update neighbor intake training curricula and materials in a variety of formats including online/webinars, videos, and in person training scripts and curriculum for volunteers, agencies, and staff.
· Collaborates with other HCFB team members to provide support to community partners related to neighbor registration platforms.
· Participate in Feeding America Service Insight webinars.
· Attend various networking and professional meetings.
· Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications:
· Associates Degree and/or 2 years’ experience preferred.
· A minimum of one year of relevant experience in non-profit, data management, and/or training coordinator and facilitation preferred.
· Ability to oversee projects and develop new initiatives.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Requires public speaking and training facilitation to various audiences.
· Ability to work independently and effectively.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Ability to use office applications and database software.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
· Ability to listen, assess, and troubleshoot issues.
· Sensitivity to diversity and the ability to work with people of different nationalities, ethnic origins, and socioeconomic levels is essential.
· Operate a personal vehicle daily to community partner sites, meetings and events.
· Bilingual ability in Spanish or Haitian Creole is highly desirable.
Working Conditions: The Service Insight Coordinator is expected to travel between Hendry, Glades, Collier, Charlotte, and Lee counties to train and support HCFB distribution and agency partner sites. This position will be approximately 75 percent work in the field out at mobile distributions and/or agency partner sites and 25% in the office and/or remote when able.
