Our Assisted Living community- John B Parsons at Salisbury, MD location is seeking a Director of Nursing who will oversee and manage the nursing personnel, resident care and healthcare services. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of care and ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the nursing staff, ensuring that they provide quality care to all residents
• Develop and implement care plans for each resident, ensuring that their individual needs are met
• Monitor and review the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as necessary
• Ensure that all nursing practices are in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that residents receive comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and nursing staff performance Develop and manage the nursing department budget, ensuring that all expenses are within budgetary constraints
• Participate in staff meetings, resident care conferences and other team meetings as necessary
• Participate in the recruitment and selection of nursing personnel

Requirements:

• A valid nursing license and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in an assisted living community Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing practices in assisted living communities
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Experience in managing budgets and financial operations
• Passionate about providing quality care to elderly individuals
