Salary: Starting at $25,000 and commensurate with experience

The Early Childhood Teacher Aide is a hybrid role, providing support to the Early Childhood department of Preschool thru Kindergarten and to the Extended Day Program. The Teacher Aide assists the classroom teachers with classroom activities, including set up and clean up and helps provide coverage as needed, as directed by the lead teacher.

This position is highly collaborative and requires the development of a strong, supportive relationship with the classroom teacher. The Teacher Aide will participate in training and work with teachers to celebrate creativity, exploration, emergent curriculum, and the positive development of the whole child through social, emotional, and academic skills. Additionally, Aides may be asked deliver curriculum as is appropriate and oversee the classroom when the teacher is not available.
