Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Cutter to join our team in the food industry. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, preparing, and packaging various types of meat products. This is a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our food products. Responsibilities: - Perform meat cutting tasks according to established standards and procedures - Trim, bone, tie, and grind meats to customer specifications - Ensure proper portion control and packaging of meat products - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment - Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines - Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production flow Experience: - Previous experience as a Meat Cutter or similar role in a restaurant or food production setting - Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and equipment operation - Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices - Ability to handle and use knives safely and effectively - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in portioning and packaging - Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines Note: This position requires physical stamina as it involves standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.
