Harvest Worker

Full Time, Non-Exempt (eligible to receive overtime pay)

First shift (Approximate start time: 6:30am)

Harris Ranch Beef Company is proud to be a family owned company, committed to supporting our communities in the Valley. We produce high quality meat items that are sold at grocery stores and restaurants in both the US and around the world.

We are adding team members to our Harvest Department to perform a variety of roles and tasks in the initial step of the meat processing facility. The Harvest Team sets a high standard for the cleanliness and safety of our products.

Tasks used to accomplish our goal can include, but are not limited to, the following:

Position Description

• Using tools and equipment such as knives, scissors, saws, scales, and other specialized manufacturing equipment
• Skinning. Trimming, Sorting, Hanging, and Inspection of Carcasses and other edible offal products, etc.
• Loading Products into machines, packaging, boxing, labeling, and scaling products.

Qualifications

Routine tasks include, but are not limited to, performing the following:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, and twist while using hands and arms to do simple gripping and grasping.
• Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying objects.
• Ability to follow general workplace safety procedures and policies while wearing required personal protective equipment.
