Job Description:We are currently seeking a highly skilled Lighting Designer and Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lighting design and energy efficiency, with the ability to create lighting designs using AutoCAD and implement lighting replacements/upgrades for energy audits.

Responsibilities:

1. Lighting Design:

• Utilize AutoCAD to sketch lighting designs for various projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial spaces.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop lighting solutions that meet their specific needs and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all lighting designs

2. Energy Audits and Replacements/Upgrades:

• Conduct comprehensive energy audits to assess existing lighting systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Recommend and implement lighting replacements/upgrades to enhance energy efficiency, reduce costs, and improve lighting quality.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in lighting design and energy efficiency to provide innovative solutions to clients.

3. Project Management:

• Manage lighting design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgetary requirements are met.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff members as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in lighting design, with proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency principles and lighting technologies.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
• Certification in lighting design or energy efficiency (e.g., LC, LEED AP) is a plus.
