Harris CPAs is currently seeking a Fiduciary Services Director in our Meridian, ID or Twin Falls, ID office!As a Fiduciary Services Director…
You will play a crucial role in the firms fiduciary services practice. You will oversee all operations of the Department, including trust accounting, security transactions, and tax preparation. The Director will manage relationships with investment advisors, broker and custodial Bank, clients, beneficiaries and attorneys and staff.
Key Responsibilities: 
• Responsible for the collection of trust income, payment of all trust bills, and preparation of distributions to trust beneficiaries. 
• Oversee daily operations of Custodial Bank, including deposits, check requests and communication with relationship manager from the bank, and communication with beneficiaries regarding the same. 
• Handle all aspects of trade securities processing, including interface between Investment Advisor; Broker and Custodial Bank. 
• Monitor the performance of bank and reviews monthly statements for accuracy. Takes corrective action where necessary. Maintain records of account performance relative to objective standards.
• Maintain continuous client contact and handles all client relation issues, including telephone calls and correspondence to and from clients.
• Attend meetings with the beneficiaries and client both in the office and outside the office. 
• Responsible for obtaining tax statements in order to timely prepare income tax returns. 
• Oversee the preparation of fiduciary tax returns for trusts and estates. 
• Oversee the preparation of personal tax returns for individuals.
• Create, maintain and update annual quarterly estimated taxes spreadsheet for clients’ and coordinate funding for the payment of taxes.
• Submit reports annually to the courts and respond to any inquiries.
• Record billable time daily; print, copy and pay final bills monthly.
• Handle and communicate special projects or additional responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
• Filing case documents in an organized manner in both paper files and the electronic document management system, in a timely manner, to allow for easy access for all Harris employees.
This job requires:
• Knowledge of financial and legal management principles in order to assist with the responsibility of the firm’s Fiduciary Services Department at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or equivalent experience.
• Approximately three to five years of progressively responsible related work experience necessary in order to gain the expertise needed to manage complex financial, legal and banking relationships in a professional services firm. 
• The ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner with a diverse group and provide information and “customer service” with ordinary courtesy and tact; and to demonstrate integrity in personal and fiduciary matters. 
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.

Salary: $80,000-$100,000, depends on experience
