Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Emergency Medical Technician Lead Instructor to join our team at our Fairfield, CA, location. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! This specific program is scheduled to run Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Applicants must be available during the hours of this class schedule to be considered for this position.

The Emergency Medical Technician Lead Instructor’s duties and responsibilities include:

• Advance student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline.
• Develop and implement student learning outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/ learning strategies.
• Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct.
• Inform students of course requirements, evaluation procedures and attendance requirements.
• Grade class assignments and examinations. Keep students informed of their academic progress.
• Maintain attendance, scholastic, and personnel records and submitting them according to program guidelines.

This role requires the following qualifications:

• 3 years of experience as an EMT, paramedic, or RN
• 3 years of experience training and/or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must hold a current certificate/license to practice as a Paramedic or EMT in the state of California.
• A thorough understanding of EMS training equipment.
• Comfortable with computers and technology.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
