Summary/Objective: Promotes the company mission statement by planning, directing, and overseeing Environmental Systems Division (ESD), HarperXS Electrical internal operations coordination.
Essential Functions: Harper Electrical Contractors (HEC) team specializes in small maintenance and capital improvement projects typically less than two weeks in construction duration. The goal of HEC is to give client-focused service consisting of consulting on the best solution to operational issues, developing a scope of work, pricing a turnkey quote, performing the project, and ensuring satisfaction. HEC also engages in routine maintenance and emergency response contracts as additional services to our clients. True to the nature of working on shorter, smaller projects, HEC typically has many concurrent ongoing projects at the same time.
The primary responsibilities of this role are proposal management, construction scheduling, and invoicing management. This role is responsible for securing, driving, implementing, and close-out of work. Also, this role oversees the daily workflow of a team, establishes deadlines, and follow-up to ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks. This role includes responsibility for several internal processes including proposal writing & management, invoicing, budget management, managing a schedule for multiple construction crews, organizing projects, implementing clear, repeatable systems, tasking the team, managing documentation, and gathering quotes/pricing of electrical materials.

Work Environment: Typical office hours. Hours may vary depending on demand. 80% Sitting, 20% Standing or Walking. Occasionally visiting project sites.
Physical Demands: Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work. No special physical demands are required to perform the work, but it usually involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, and carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts, driving an automobile, etc. While this work typically is not physically demanding, it can be mentally demanding, with many deadlines needing to be met consistently. Occasionally the employee may need to visit job sites or facilities in person which could include walking, climbing stairs, and traversing uneven ground.
Travel Required: Minimal but may be required for errands, regional office meetings, construction job site visits, or company events .
