We are looking for volunteers that own a certified therapy dog or animal to visit with our hospice patients. You and your therapy animal can help us bring a smile to the faces of animal lovers who can no longer own a pet due to their declining health.

May visit with patients at their private homes, nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Therapy animals are required to be licensed with an appropriate therapy organization (i.e. Pet Partners, Therapy Dogs International, etc.

and be up to date on their vaccinations. Human volunteers will go through an onboarding and orientation process that will familiarize you with hospice and set you up for success.

No experience with hospice required.

Our Harmony Hospice Volunteers set their own schedules and areas of service. Volunteers receive training and support related to their service.
