Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Operations Director, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance. All work will be done in compliance with environmental, Hazmat and Health and Safety at Work rules and regulations. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• General building maintenance

• Perform timely repairs and scheduled maintenance on building equipment
• Light duty maintenance including lighting, carpentry, hardware, mechanical equipment, safety systems, athletic courts
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Modify and monitor work order management system
• Work with Facilities Leader to maintain the facility within the approved budgets

• Other tasks as assigned

• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to troubleshoot

• Capable of communicating effectively and courteously with a wide range of persons
• Ability to self-manage and perform each essential duty beyond satisfaction

• Must be able to pass background checks, drug screening

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required, plus 5-7 years’ 
• Experience in facility supervision and management. 

• Demonstrated management experience required; Strong attention to detail and analytic skills required; Strong problem solving skills required; Strong and confident oral and written communication skills required; Ability to work collaboratively with others (and when appropriate influence colleagues in their decision making process) required;
