DENTAL ASSISTANT

SUMMARY:

We are a private dental office that specializes in high-end, general and cosmetic dentistry. We utilize top-of-the-line materials and state-of-the-art technology to provide our patients with an incredible experience that they cannot get from any other dental office. • Pay: $22-34/hour

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Provide patients with an exceptionally high-quality patient experience that cannot be found anywhere else.
• Personable attitude that can connect with patients and treat patients like your friend/family member.
• Read patient charts prior to their appointments to be aware of any preferences or previous dental procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Encourage patients by providing information about dental procedures as well as the value of necessary treatment.
• Make adjustments for patients according to their body language and facial expressions during visit.
• Digital x-rays (open bitewings, apex of teeth, comfortable for patient, timely manner).
• iTero scans average 5-10 minutes.
• Sterilization.
• Perio charting for hygiene as needed.
• Provide proper patient handoff to front desk/treatment coordinator in regard to any changes in treatment, future visits, or treatment that was diagnosed.
• Utilize active listening and attention to detail to be able to relay information between team members to provide an ideal experience for patients.
• Maintain supplies by consistently restocking rooms with supplies and dental materials.
• Offer complimentary amenities to comfort patients, constantly check in with patients during procedure.
• Follow up with patients who may have delayed treatment during downtime.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
