Part-time Teller

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Teller to join our team. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently, and promoting various banking products and services. Position Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and always provide prompt, courteous, and professional service.
• Conduct financial transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers, accurately and efficiently.
• Verify customer identities and signatures to prevent fraudulent activities.
• Handle cash transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs and goals.
• Answer customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide relevant information about banking services.
• Assist customers with account opening, closing, and maintenance processes.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift.
• Stay up to date with banking policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and targets.
• Uphold security measures to protect the bank and its customers from potential risks.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a banking environment.
• Strong mathematical and numerical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with banking software and computer systems.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance procedures.
• Integrity and respect for confidentiality.
• Additional duties may be assigned as per the bank's requirements.

Hours of service:

Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday morning from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. This position will be scheduled for 29 hours a week.
