$14.00 - $18.04 PER HOURGENERAL PURPOSE:The purpose of this position is to sell Harmons Fresh Seafood by providing remarkable customer service. This person will be assisting customers at the seafood counter, stocking the seafood case, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the seafood area, and sampling products at the seafood case and throughout the store.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Follows established departmental and store policies and proceduresEnsures the quality and freshness of all products and services the seafood area providesResponsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the seafood caseConfirms pricing accuracy and signage for all seafood case products, paying particular attention to ad itemsEnsures the seafood area is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearanceCuts fish, steams shrimp, prepares seafood salads, and shrimp platters for saleCleans and sanitizes dishes used in the seafood areaReceives and stocks product in the seafood areaDelivers excellent customer service to all customersEducates customers about ingredients, taste, etc. of Harmons’ fresh cut seafood productsActively promotes the seafood products through sampling at the seafood case and throughout the storeAssists with inventory and ordering of seafood productsReceives and stocks product for the seafood areaAssists as needed to ensure the success of the meat department as a wholeMARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs other job-related duties as assigned.NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:Consistent and daily interaction with store associatesConsistent and daily interaction with customersTRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
