Hiring Part-time$14.00 - $18.45 PER HOUR GENERAL PURPOSE:The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness and product assortment is maintained in the throughout the store, specifically in the grocery department. This person will be receiving, stocking and rotating product, facing product, taking special orders, and providing exceptional customer service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Follows established departmental and store policies and proceduresEnsures the quality and freshness of all products and services provided by the grocery departmentResponsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the grocery departmentConfirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad itemsEnsures the store is cleaned daily and meets the company standards for appearanceDelivers excellent customer service to all customersReceives, stores and stocks a wide variety of products for the grocery departmentPulls out of date product from the shelvesBuilds end-cap and other special product displaysAssists Grocery Manager with ordering product to meet the needs of the store based on past and projected salesCompletes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely mannerSets a professional and positive example to othersAssists as needed to ensure the success of the store as a wholeMARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs other job-related duties as assigned.NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:Consistent and daily interaction with store associatesConsistent and daily interaction with customersConsistent and daily interaction with vendorsTRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
