JOB DESCRIPTION.
The Itinerant Site Director/Administrative Support Assistant - KK will support the Klassic Kids Program Manager with a wide range of administrative and office support activities. This position will provide coverage for assigned sites in the absence of Site Director - KK. Responsibilities include, supervision and interaction with students on a daily basis, individually and via group and the timely completion of paperwork. The Itinerant Site Director/Administrative Support Assistant - KK provides stability, structure and organization to the assigned site.

JOB COMPLEXITY.

• Assist with the yearly processing of SDUSD Facility Usage Permits
• Assist with completing Community Care Licensing paperwork not limited to; fingerprint transfers, assisting in room additions and/or new program paperwork is accurately prepared and submitted timely
• Monitor the site budget to ensure the fiscal sustainability of the program and make corrections as needed
• Develop and implement programs to provide a diverse creative mix of sports, recreation, arts and crafts, enrichment, educational (homework), and special activities that are age and interest appropriate

MINIMUM COMPETENCIES.

• Must be 18 years of age

• Must be CPR and First Aid certified

• 15 semester units at an accredited college plus 4 years of teaching, AA degree with a major in child development plus 2 years of teaching experience or BA degree in Child Development plus 1 year of teaching. All education must include 3 units in administration or staff relations and 12 units in early education, child, growth & development, recreation, humanities, or education

• Meet Community Care Licensing Directors Qualifications, Section 101515

• Minimum 2 years administration experience in a licensed or comparable group child care program, with a working knowledge of staff coaching and supervision, public relation, marketing and fiscal management

• Reliable automobile, valid CA Driver’s license and maintain proof of current automobile insurance

• Current health screen, negative TB test, and immunizations against Measles, Pertussis and annual Influenza (or signed an annual declaration declining the Influenza shot)

• Must receive Fingerprint Clearance upon hire (paid by Harmonium)

• Ability to substitute at other licensed locations throughout San Diego

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
