JOB DESCRIPTION.

The Assistant Program Manager - Klassic Kids is responsible for assisting the Program Manager - KK in the day-to-day program operations, compliance with regulations, policies and procedures, customer relations, implementation of best practices, and achievement of program goals and outcomes. The position is also responsible for providing program support, which includes site observations, student observations, recruitment, daily operations, and upkeep of sites. This position provides coverage for Site Directors - KK as needed.

JOB COMPLEXITY.

  • Responsible for developing and implementing supportive action plans with the purpose of guiding site staff in the ares of improvement and ensure that goals are met
  • Responsible for managing and conducting site observations three times a school year and once during summer program while focusing on the quality management, positive social interactions between management, staff, school personnel, and families, implementation of training resources, licensing compliance, meeting agency standards, and positive behavior management

MINIMUM COMPETENCIES.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 15 semester units at an accredited college plus 4 years of teaching, AA degree with a major in child development plus 2 years of teaching experience or BA degree in child development plus 1 year of teaching
  • Four years supervisory experience in a licensed school-age program or comparable group child care program
  • Experience mentoring and/or coaching staff
  • Reliable automobile, valid CA drivers license, and proof of current automobile insurance
  • Valid TB results required
  • Must receive Fingerprint Clearance upon hire (paid by Harmonium)
  • Valid CPR & First Aid Certification required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,400.00 per year
