About the Role

As a Data Analyst Intern you will be responsible for supporting the program management team with organizing and executing product development tasks around date analysis, manipulation and reporting. You will work to support the program management team with cross-functional data analysis, communication and executing a plan to create Harman dashboard and other needed tools to support efficient program management.

What You Will Do

• Support Program Management teams with audio system (system, speaker, and/or amplifier) programs, requiring both applications and international development engineering.
• Help with defining tasks to be performed by cross-functional teams in developing systems. Use task list to create a work breakdown structure to define the needed inputs from teams to support data analysis and reporting.
• Follow corporate product development (or applications) process.
• Help with ensuring prompt decision-making is executed by assisting with the creation of tools and collection of data to provide to decision-makers.
• Build databases that can be automated and create dashboards for effective and proficient analyses by Customer Program Management team and decision makers.
• Interact with all internal functions: design engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, marketing, and sales.
• Help with determining needed tools to support data analysis and reporting.
• Help with reviewing data analysis and reporting tools and quotes and participate in supplier reviews/selection as appropriate.
• Help with audit task completion. Report major deviations from plan to appropriate management.
• Help program management with monthly reports in requested format.
• Recommend continuous improvements development process. Complete other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• May help perform and support inventory task.

What You Need

• Attending school with a goal to receive a bachelor's degree in data analysis, data engineering or related field
• Good project management skills
• Desire to be involved in Automotive Electronics and Audio systems
• Ideally would be familiar with JIRA, Confluence and other Atlassian tools

What Makes You Eligible

• Be willing to work in an office in Novi, Michigan.
• Able to provide your own housing and transportation to/from work.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
• Must provide full work availability from May 20, 2024 through August 9, 2024 and be able to work 40 hours per week
