We are looking for a Full-Time Parts and Accessories Associate!

The Parts and Accessories (P&A) Associate is an employee whose primary responsibility is to assist all customers with their purchase of parts and accessories. Responsibilities include recommending and up-selling Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories when appropriate, maintaining an appealing retail environment, sustaining correct levels of inventory, and building strong relationships with customers and vendors.

Job Duties:

  • Greet customers immediately and in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Assist customers with their P&A needs and wants, researching merchandise in appropriate catalogues
  • Completing transactions correctly and efficiently, keeping the customer informed of backorders, arrival of orders, and follow-ups when necessary
  • Communicating with the Service department concerning customer requests, jobs, take-off parts, etc.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of P&A Department, as well as keeping and maintaining inventory on the showroom floor, behind the counters, and in the stockroom in an orderly and clean manner
  • Continuing education of Harley-Davidson® motorcycles and Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories, and demonstrate the ability to learn them quickly

Requirements:

  • Prior experience with Harley-Davidson® motorcycles is preferred, but not required
  • H-D of Madison is willing to train the right candidate
  • Occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. of material
  • Experience with computers and the internet is a necessity
  • Harley-Davidson utilizes digital catalogs that are used on a regular basis
  • Must display ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers – in person, over the phone, and online – vendors, and the rest of the Team at H-D of Madison
  • Must have valid Driver’s License, preferably with M endorsement
  • Must be self-motivated, can work in fast-paced environment, be able to multi-task, and possess great organizational skills

Income & Benefits:

  • Full-Time position at 40 hours/week, paid weekly
  • Saturdays are required with one weekday off
  • Earn between $30,000 to $45,000 plus commission
  • Benefits include vacation time, holiday pay, and health insurance for full-time employees
  • Dental insurance & 401K plans available after probation period

Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
