Job Title: Commercial Roofing - Inspector/Field Supervisor

Location: Shreveport-Bossier, LA (Travel Required)

Job Description:

Hargrove Roofing and Construction seeks a highly motivated and versatile Commercial Roofing Veteran to join our team. This is a hybrid role, requiring proficiency both in office-related tasks and hands-on fieldwork. The successful candidate will manage roofing projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, client satisfaction, and adherence to schedules.

Responsibilities:

Inside:

• Communicate effectively with clients and general contractors through well-organized and professional emails.
• Prepare and assemble final proposals in PDF format to present to clients.
• Collaborate with general contractors on the Schedule of Values, Submittals, Scheduling, Change Orders, and other project-related documents.
• Manage the procurement of all necessary materials and components for job site deliveries.
• Create comprehensive field investigation reports, including photographs, documentation, pricing, and summaries.

Outside:

• Investigate and document new roof leads while meeting with the client/decision maker.
• Perform/Oversee roof repairs and maintenance independently or with a crew, including scheduling and pricing repairs accurately.
• Act as a superintendent when needed, overseeing field operations as required.
• Conduct core sampling, documentation, and proper sealing as part of fieldwork.
• Prepare field reports with accurate pictures and documentation to complement office-based summaries.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in commercial roofing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout Texas and Louisiana, sometimes for extended periods.
• Experience in pricing and conducting roof repairs.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to perform fieldwork when necessary.
