Work will be performed under direct supervision. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Help with plant operations, safety, write permits, procedure writing Help if there re any issues with the plant overall, on each side of maintenance Remove, install, clean, calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot mechanical equipment throughout the facility safely and professionally. Troubleshoot mechanical issues. Provide support during ongoing Turnarounds. Ideal Background Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree in Engineering Technology is preferred. Experience: This position requires up to 5 years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical maintenance and technical service or related coursework. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Active TWIC is required Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry in excess of 25 lbs. Ability to use the entire body, more often hands and arms, in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials and equipment. Ability to climb ladders or perform duties utilizing a safety harness while working at elevated heights. Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs while carrying equipment. Ability to perform work outdoors or in process units in hot or cold climates. Ability to perform duties within confined spaces for extended periods of time.
