We are looking for another dedicated person to join us. We have an immediate opening for a full time Quality Assurance Technician at our headquarters in Santa Maria, CA. The Quality Assurance Technician's job duties include but are not limited to: calibration, validation, equipment qualification, environmental monitoring, CAPA and supporting non-financial audits. This position is also responsible for creating and revising company procedures, protocols and policies in compliance with regulatory requirements for medical diagnostics device products. Must be able to push or pull 50lbs and climb a ladder. Minimum requirements include an associate’s degree, two years related college-level course work, two years work experience in related area and/or two years experience practicing strong GMP/GLP techniques, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in math, word processing and spreadsheet software is required. A bachelor’s degree with concentration in a science or technical field including college courses in biology, chemistry and physics is preferred. Knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 13485, 21 CFR820, environmental monitoring, calibration and validation is also preferred.
