Responsibilities:

• Operate one or more types of mailroom equipment, including ink jet addresser, folder, and inserter.
• Ensure efficient and productive operation of equipment.
• Adhere to job specifications and meet job schedules.
• Maintain established quality metrics and minimize spoilage.
• Provide daily and basic maintenance on machines.
• Operate machines in a safe manner and keep work areas neat and clean.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in basic computer skills for logging time on jobs.
• Able to read, interpret, and use visual instructions such as job tickets.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Logical and analytical thinking for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Orientation towards producing quality work.
• Proactive in identifying and addressing issues with projects or processes.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
• Capable of juggling multiple requests and meeting deadlines.
• Team player with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Physical movements including bending, stooping, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Long periods of standing may be required.
• Manual dexterity to operate press equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
