Qualifications/Skills

• Must have Class A - CDL license
• One year of directly related experience (preferred)
• No automatic restrictions (preferred)
• Ability to pass required background checks
• No DUI/DWI in the past 7 years
• Must be able to lift/carry 75 pounds, ratchet loads, climb into trailers, and meet all listed essential functions
• Ability to meet deadlines while adhering to safety regulations
• Ability to represent the company professionally
• Effective communication skills required
• Customer service skills are required

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Operations:

• Check tractor/trailer after trips using E-DVIR
• Inspect goods before moving them
• Help load/unload if needed
• Drive to weigh stations as required
• Note layover/detention times
• Ensure service standards are met
• Follow fueling guidelines

Safety:

• Follow OSHA and MSDS standards
• Pass background checks
• Maintain safe driving record
• Participate in safety workshops

Client Satisfaction:

• Maintain professional appearance
• Respond promptly to client inquiries/complaints
• Report client feedback to management
• Meet client quality goals

Administrative:

• Complete necessary paperwork accurately
• Verify trip information
• Fill out trip sheets completely
