This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to work exclusively for plaintiffs, learn how to litigate and manage mass tort medical device and pharmaceutical cases, perform common benefit work on various MDLs, and make a difference in the lives of those harmed because of a defective medical device or pharmaceutical.

$100,000 - $160,000 yearly

• Set and monitor the statute of limitations
• Work with the Mass Tort Team to manage mass tort cases throughout the entire litigation process and ensure cases are worked up in accordance with court orders
• Offer support and maintain consistent written, telephone, and e-mail communications with clients
• Monitor statute of limitations and upcoming critical deadlines for each case
• Draft and review pleadings and discovery motions
• Strategy meetings with attorneys and senior paralegals
• Draft briefs and letters to the court
• Work on discovery and document review
• Research and write motions for individual cases and MDLs including discovery motions, dispositive motions, Daubert motions, and motions in limine
• Prepare for Plaintiff and MDL depositions
• Additional projects as needed for mass tort litigations

Physical Demands/Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee constantly operates a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc
• Occasionally ascends/descends stairs
• The person in this position frequently communicates with coworkers, clients, and/or outside vendors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

• 5 years of experience
• J.D. Degree and Bar Admission Required
• Must be in Good Standing in all states in which you are licensed
