HardHat is currently looking to hire a Plumbing Superintendent in Cartersville, GA. We are seeking individuals experienced in commercial new construction, tenant improvements & remodels. Applicants should be motivated self-starters, show a good attitude, have a clean appearance, and be able to work well with others. Projects will require layout and installation of cast iron, PVC and ABS sewer, vent and roof drain piping. Layout and installation of copper, CPVC, and PEX water distribution piping. Threading, layout, and installation of steel gas piping. Assembly, installation, and start-up of various plumbing fixtures, equipment, and components.

Schedule: 7 Days

Per DIem: $130 for each working day

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Experience in Commercial plumbing
• Must know and understand all applicable federal, state, and local codes and be able to apply them in a practical manner on each job.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
• Work with and train/help any plumbers, helpers who may be assigned to work with you.
• Clean and clear the work area after the job has been completed.
• Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations and with co-workers
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time and within budget.
• Laying out field crew (when needed)
• Completing Daily Logs
• Attend required department meetings and company or contractor training as required.
• Exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether at the job site or driving company vehicles.
• Understanding, recognizing, and complying with OSHA safety regulations

Requirements:

• Current plumbing license (Preferred)
• Understanding of the current regulations within the field
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Must have reliable transportation
• Experience in a Plumbing Superintendent Role
• Experience in measuring accurately & laying out field guys (when needed)
• Journeyman Commercial Plumbing Experience (4 years)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
