Job Description

Hard Rock Stone Works is looking to hire a Template Design Engineer to measure for granite and quartz countertops, fireplaces, etc. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or an experienced person in the field. We are willing to train the right candidate as well. Drafting experience, countertop experience, or kitchen and bath experience is very desirable.

Basic Skills

• Detail oriented person.
• Experience with CAD is beneficial but not required.
• Understanding of Kitchen and Bath design is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to create accurate construction drawings, we will help to train you.
• Dependable and Punctual.
• Good communication skills.
• Daily Tasks
• Each Template Engineer has 3 to 5 jobs per day.
• You will design granite and quartz countertops as specified by the customers adding your own thoughts when needed.
• The drawings are done with an LT-55 laser templater and user friendly CAD package.
• The ability to read a tape measurer and check your dimensions for every job that you measured.
• Required to measure sink and cooktop centers as well as follow specifications for cutouts or create a cutout on your own. (We will train you)

Our work week is Monday thru Friday with some Saturdays averaging around 40 to 50 hours per week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred)
