Job Summary: We are currently hiring for a Medical Assistant to join our pediatric practice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and obtain vitals on patient
- Answer incoming phone calls, scheduling patients, insurance verification, front office duties
- Administer vaccinations and other injections
- Follow up on labs, telephone messages, and tasks
- Maintaining patient records (EHR & paper charts)
- Assisting doctors
- Patient referrals
- Other various tasks as assigned
Experience: Medical Assistant, 1 year (required)
Education/Certifications:
- Certified medical assistant (preferred)
- BLS (preferred)
Full time Medical Assistant needed for a busy pediatric office in St. Augustine. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical assistant. Front and back office experience required. Hourly bi weekly pay, based upon experience. Benefits offered after probationary period, health insurance, 401K, paid time off.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
