Harbor Oaks Golden Years is Hiring a Med Tech Near Port Orange, FL

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Technician to join our team Monday and Tuesday night 9p-6a. As a Medical Technician, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to patients. This position requires strong medical documentation skills and the ability to work with various healthcare professionals.

Duties:
- Provide direct care to patients under the supervision of nurses or other healthcare professionals
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments as directed
- Administer medications following established protocols and guidelines
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with patient mobility, including transfers and ambulation
- Perform catheter care and other basic nursing tasks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Medical Technician program preferred
- Previous experience in acute care or hospice care settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift

Shift availability:

  • Overnight Shift (Required)

Ability to Relocate:
