Job Overview

The software team is looking to add a contributor for user interfaces to the team. This software developer will help set the direction for user interface / infotainment software and the architecture of the application as we work through development of our medium duty commercial chassis.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop user interface software applications and stacks for medium duty commercial vehicle
• Identify requirements for infotainment systems with cross-functional stakeholders
• Develop strategies for variant management of software for different applications
• Develop validation strategies and frameworks for user interface software
• Contribute to development of software team culture and best practices
• Help shape direction of user experiences

Who You Are:

• Proficiency with C/C , Python,
• Proficiency with Qt/Qml
• Familiarity with graphical user interface test frameworks such as selenium, squish, or similar, or generic test frameworks such as pytest or google test
• Experience with User Experience principles and design
• Experience with requirements authoring tools: Polarion, DOORS, Jama, Vizure, or similar
• Experience with version control systems (Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD systems: jenkins, gitlab, circle-ci, travis-ci, etc.
• Experience with cloud based storage APIs and automation: GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Experience with front-end web development: typescript / javascript and frameworks like react
• Experience with databases (sql / postgres) and API design (RESTful) a plus
