Job Overview

The Harbinger battery team is looking to add a mechanical design engineer to join the development of our in-house designed battery. This key team member will work closely with other engineers to design and develop the components and systems within the battery pack.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and release mechanical components and systems within the HV battery pack
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of your components within the vehicle
• Manage and collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality parts
• Design and develop validation and inspection procedures alongside the testing team
• Successfully launch and sustain production components

Who You Are:

• Mechanical engineer (or related) with experience designing HV batteries or electrical assemblies in the transportation/passenger car industry
• Technical knowledge of HV batteries, including electrical, thermal, fluid, structural and safety functions
• Knowledgeable regarding quality control methodologies
• Experienced with CAD (CATIA preferred); skilled with robust and efficient modeling techniques
• Experienced with product launch
• Capable of working well in fast-paced environment
