General Function: It is the responsibility of each employee of the Company to understand and promote the Company Mission Statement and Statement of Values while adhering to the Company Code of Conduct. The primary responsibility of this position is completion of all warehouse and yard functions in an efficient manner.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inventory.
  • Ensuring all incoming shipments are received promptly and accurately.
  • Conducting inventory cycle counts as scheduled.
  • Maintaining inventory in a neat and logical manner.
  • Ensure all credit returns are handled accurately.
• Safety.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized and safe yard and warehouse.
  • Comply with the Company safety policy.
  • Addressing all safety concerns and reporting to the General Manager.
  • Maintaining and inspecting all assigned vehicles according to Company policies.
• Shipping.
  • Ensuring all shipments and material handling is done timely and accurately.
  • Ensuring all materials are loaded properly to allow a safe delivery.
• General – As Harbin Lumber Company, Inc. is a group of locations each working individually and as a team, the Warehouse Coordinator must be a team player and must develop positive working relationships with all location personnel, Outside Sales Representatives, and other Company employees.

Physical Requirements: Heavy lifting up to 100 pounds will be required on an occasional basis.

Working Conditions: The work is primarily outside work in all types of weather.

Experience: Minimum of one year experience working in a warehouse or yard (i.e. – Operating a forklift, working with computerized inventory software) preferred.

Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
