Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Host to join our team. As a Host/Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your role will involve greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and assisting with various tasks to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival
- Manage the reservation system and ensure accurate seating arrangements
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Answer phone calls and provide information to guests in a professional manner
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Assist in taking food and beverage orders when necessary
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with patience and professionalism
- Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure efficient table turnover
- Provide assistance to guests with special needs or requests

Skills:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
- Knowledge of Aloha POS system is a plus
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic knowledge of food service procedures and etiquette
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

We are a Chinese restaurant, Cantonese or Chinese preferred.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
