Happy Home Appliance Repair is looking for an appliance Service Technician to join our team.

As a factory-certified warranty servicer for Miele, Viking, Fisher Paykel, DCS, Liebherr, Bertazzoni, and others, we take pride in our work and strive to provide the best service in the industry.

We are currently seeking On-Site Service Technicians who possess a guest-first attitude and the ability to complete service and repairs. We welcome varying levels of experience, from small to large home appliances, HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive appliance repair experience and follow all industry safety obligations. Excellent customer service skills are essential to be successful in this role.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Installing, servicing, and repairing various household appliances, such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, and more
  • Possessing a working mechanical knowledge, including the use of tools and test equipment
  • Swiftly responding to customer calls regarding issues or malfunctions
  • Evaluating and troubleshooting problems
  • Providing warranty service and repairs, as well as options, estimates, and timeframes
  • Completing invoicing and service-related paperwork
  • Demonstrating high-level customer service and communication skills
  • Exhibiting manual dexterity and physical stamina
  • Possessing elevated mechanical aptitude and capability
  • Being self-motivated, enthusiastic, and positive
  • Being a team player in all communication and actions
  • Having computer and technology skills, with average to above-average abilities for online applications, laptop use, cell phone, electronics, and office software
  • Being proficient with time management strategies to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity
  • Taking ownership and accountability to exceed expectations
  • Having self-discipline to control output, outcomes, and stay on course
  • Accepting direction and feedback constructively and excelling in a structured work environment

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an appliance and refrigeration technician
  • Expirience performing sealed system repairs on residential refrigerators
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • National certification from the ISCET (a plus)
  • Previous factory appliance training (a plus)
  • Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license for the state in which you are applying
  • EPA certification (a plus)
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
