Happy Day Care is Hiring a Child Care Assistant Near San Jose, CA
Do you love spending time with infants and toddlers? Does caring for small children feel rewarding to you? Happy Day Care is a family run home based day care facility and we are looking for an energetic and care giving assistant, who will work along with the facility director to provide care to the children in the premises.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in the care
- Help children keep good hygiene
- Keep the environment safe and clean
- Organize activities so that children can learn about the world and explore interests
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring the problems to the attention of parents
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have current TB test
- Must have CPR and First Aid Certification (We can guide you to get one)
- Must have a driving license
- Must pass or obtain finger print clearance (We can guide you if you)
- Sincere interest and enthusiasm in engaging with children
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driving License (Preferred)
