Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager in daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Train and develop team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies
- Manage cash register operations, including handling cash, processing transactions, and balancing registers
- Maintain accurate inventory control and assist with inventory management
- Implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions and generate reports
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Drive retail sales by promoting products, upselling, and implementing effective marketing strategies
- Assist with payroll administration and scheduling of staff

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail management or related field
- Strong knowledge of cash register operations, inventory control, and customer service principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions and feedback to team members
- Proficient in using POS systems and other retail software applications
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and motivate employees to achieve sales targets
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Knowledge of payroll processes is preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license
