Customer BI Engineer / Analyst

Hapana is seeking a highly quantitative, driven, and user-experience focused BI Engineer to join our team preferably in Columbus, Ohio. The core focus of this role is responsibility for ensuring fulfillment of customer facing business intelligence solution, a key pillar in our FitStack Solution. This role requires a combination of technical data skills, business acumen, and the ability to build cross-functional relationships. The ideal candidate will possess:

• 3-5 years of experience in data analytics with a focus on performance metrics in the health and fitness space.
• Proficiency at utilizing advanced SQL to query from a live database environment (eg. functions, subqueries, complex joins).
• Experience in AWS preferred.
• Proficiency at utilizing various digital analytics, visualization, and CFM platforms ( such as Looker, Google Analytics.)
• Knowledge in Data Warehouse set up and maintenance is preferred. ( eg. Redshift or SnowFlake).
• You have excellent quantitative skills and are comfortable with statistics.
• You have experience in creating clear and simple reports and KPI that guide viewers toward actionable insights and allow drill down for further explorations.
• You are a proactive communicator and writer and can communicate clearly about data to technical and non technical partners. You need to be able to articulate complex ideas efficiently and effectively.
• You have experience working across teams with business stakeholders and customers to create analytics solutions.
• You are familiar with dimensional modeling and modern cloud data warehouses.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Implement a BI tool as a product within our SAAS tech stack- this tool will be centrally controlled but be a multitenant application.
• Proficient with BI solutions (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  Experience with the Looker Platform including dashboards and LookML modeling preferred.
• Develop processes to prototype, validate, review and launch customer facing dashboards, reporting and KPIs.
• Support the Product team in identifying and converting customer needs and requirements to deliverable solutions.
• Regularly meet with customers, leadership and engineering stakeholders to understand data needs and data warehouse provisions.
• Design and develop meaningful analytics and executive reporting .
• Proactively suggest technology and process improvements that will build a strong foundation for scaling our BI offerings to our customers.
• Perform exploratory analyses to answer questions and improve our understanding of customer business patterns.
