The Quality Technician inspects the raw materials, completed module and process condition to ensure top-tier products by verifying all quality aspects based on the specification and the standard operational procedure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Confirms materials received meet established quality standards from our suppliers
- Confirms product compliance to established quality standards by conducting tests
- Create NCRs for the nonconforming materials
- Ensure the line maintains productivity levels needed to meet production demands
- Documents inspection results for material release, final product grading
- Produce products that meet quality standards with minimal defects
- Help other technicians during break time and flexibility to cover other work areas
- Ability to follow standardized work and not deviate from SOP and work instructions
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing process
- Basic computer skills
- Able to cope with pressure and be a team player
- Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
- Must be detail oriented and able to analyze information on computer monitor for 12 hours
- Ability to lift 50 pounds without restriction
- Ability to stand and be on your feet for up to 12 hours
- Ability to do a day shift or a night shift without restriction
