We are looking to hire a Grain Facility Operator at Hansen-Mueller! We seek to hire dedicated individuals’ commitment to customer service, appreciation for variety in their job, and want to be rewarded for hard work!
GRAIN FACILITY OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in maintaining quality and quantity of stored grain
- Loads and unloads trucks or railroad cars
- Operates heavy equipment, including pay loaders, skid steer, forklifts, and railroad car movers
- Performs general housekeeping activities inside and outside the facility
- Assists in maintenance of plant and equipment
- Starts conveyors, selects flow spouts, sets trippers, and selects storage tanks to convey grain into storage or to loading department
- Follows all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by management
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, Saturday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

GRAIN FACILITY OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Experience in fields such as general labor, heavy equipment operator, machine operator, concrete, production, grain elevator operator, construction, grain or mill work, customer service, truck driver, or warehousing is helpful
