This person needs to know planting through silage harvest, have experience with large modern farm machinery and have a technical mindset that is not afraid of change. This position is farming operations related to dairy feedstuffs and will oversee maintaining and servicing equipment to keep the dairy running efficiently. They run over 2000 acres of land, and do much of their owe harvesting, but also custom harvest for their needs from neighboring farms for their Dairy's Forage needs. One will also need to be familiar with feeding heifers and cows, gain an understanding of the inner workings of the manure system, and also assist with maintenance and repairs round the barns as needed. This person will work in a team environment, work long hours in peak season, must be dedicated, and have common sense. This is a progressive operation looking for the right person committed to long-term employment, someone to grow into and with the business.
